So you just met someone at a bar. You guys hit it off, danced the night away, drinks were flowing like it was New Years Eve (maybe it was…but you won’t remember) and one way or another you end up at that person’s house. The plan is to go home for some extra “drinks” since the bar has now closed.
You get home, maybe you get to that “drink”, maybe you don’t, but regardless the hot, steamy, drunken sex begins. After a couple hours (perhaps a couple minutes haha) you’re completely tired out and sleep comes rather quickly. You wake up the next morning and you’re not quite sure where you stand anymore. How much of last night do you even remember? Did you guys have anything in common? After the morning sex (remember your breath mint haha), you get up and leave, not much is said, both of you are still pretty hungover.
Here’s the real question. How are you able to tell if it was a one nighter or if your partner perhaps would like to continue some sort of arrangement? That is to say what is everyone’s etiquette concerning this type of situation? If you’re really not interested do you bother to call? Perhaps you call just to be polite afterwards so the other person doesn’t feel completely used. Your call…(see what I did there?)
